MEMBERSHIP
Not already a member? There are many benefits to being a member of the National League of Postmasters. First, and perhaps most importantly, you become part of a network of Postmasters dedicated to the United States Postal Service and to helping one another succeed. As you attend meetings, whether they are three-digit meetings, State Conventions, or National Conventions, you will meet other Postmasters with similar questions, problems and solutions. If you do not wish to attend meetings, you can still network with us by phone or email.
The network is stronger if you are a part of it.
If you have recently been appointed as a new postmaster, membership is free for one year if you sign within the first 30 days of your appointment. Everyone that becomes a new member and joins the Atlanta Postal Federal Credit Union at the same time, will receive a $50.00 deposit into their account from the NY State Branch. This offer is extended to all, including new postmasters, and those of you that are not newly appointed postmasters. ($50.00 deposited into your account when you begin to pay dues).
In addition to these incentives, the NY Branch will also pay the registration fees for any new member postmaster that attends National Convention, the LEAGUE Legislative Forum in Washington, and State Convention, during your first year. Typically the total of the fees for all three events is a little over $400.00. Attend one or come to all!
